LAYA SHAIKUN
Our hospital manager, Laya Shaikun, was first hired as a vet assistant in January
2005. Laya is a member of the Greater Atlanta Veterinary Managers Association
and her main concern is that our staff and facility provide exemplary customer
service and health care for your pet. Passionate and tireless in her efforts to
help rescued pets, Ms. Shaikun is a member of PAWS Atlanta, Companion Animal Rescue
League and No More Homeless Pets. Though she has two cats and two dogs of her
own, she always has room at her home and in her heart for a pet in need. |

JEFF MILLER
With almost one year at Abbott Animal Hospital, Jeff Miller has become an important
team member. His primary duties include assisting with surgeries and pets in the
exam room, preparing and processing laboratory specimens and taking x-rays. Mr.
Miller worked in legal and film industries previously and decided to get paid
for his passion of pet care instead. He enjoys volunteerism in the assisted living
field and spending time with his two dogs and cat at home. |
